Certificate of Compliance for a Swimming Pool Application

Use this form to apply for a Certificate of Compliance for a Swimming Pool (issued under Section 22D for the Swimming Pools Act 1992).

This form must be completed by the owner or delegated/appointed agent of the property. 

Please ensure you complete all information in this form, as incorrect or incomplete information may lead to delays in processing your application.

The following items must be included as part of your application: 

  • Proof of registration of your pool/spa on the NSW Swimming Pool Register. You may register your pool or obtain your certificate number at www.swimmingpoolregister.nsw.gov.au;
  • For each pool and/or spa within the same lot there is a $150 fee for new inspections and a $100 fee for re-inspections;
  • Entry onto property: in order to process your application and to determine compliance, council’s Authorised Inspection Officers are required to access the property.

By submission of this application or by authorising its submission by another person/s it is assumed you are giving approval of entry to your premises to Council staff.  Should access be required, staff may make contact with you beforehand to make the necessary arrangements. Refer to section 27A of the Swimming Pools Act outlined in the Standard Conditions for more information.
