Gosford City Council offers the following payment methods for rates and water consumption accounts.
Credit card payment via telephone
Call 1300 660 731 to pay your rates or water account over the phone. MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
You may wish to have a pen ready to record the receipt number which will be provided once your payment has been approved.
Payment of rates and water accounts may be made by direct debit from your savings or cheque account.
By lodging an application your future rate installments and water accounts will be automatically deducted from your nominated account as they are due.

Most banks, building societies and credit unions now accept BPay via telephone or Internet. Payments can be made directly from your cheque, savings or credit card account. Contact your financial institution to link your accounts to BPay.
MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
Payments can be made at any time however those made out of normal business hours may not be processed by your financial institution until the close of business on the following business day.
Pay Online Using Our E-Council Service.
EFTPOS services are available during normal business hours at council's customer service centres located in the Gosford administration building and, Woy Woy and Erina libraries.
Payment can be made using your MasterCard, Visa or debit card.
Payment of rates and water accounts may be made at any Australia Post office during normal business hours using the pre-encoded deposit slip.
Payment by mail
Simply make a cheque payable to Gosford City Council and send with details of the payment to council at PO Box 21, Gosford NSW 2250.
Please note receipts are not issued for payments received through the mail.
During business hours, payment can be made by placing your cheque with payment details into the deposit box located on the ground floor of the administration building at 49 Mann St Gosford. No receipt will be issued using this method of payment.
Gosford City Council offices
Cashier opening hours are from 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday with the exception of Gosford which is open from 8.30am weekdays.
Payment by cash, cheque, credit card, EFTPOS, and debit card is accepted at these locations.
Do I receive a receipt?
Council receipts are issued for payments made in person at all Gosford City Council offices.
These are located in the administration building at 49 Mann Street, Gosford, at Erina Library at The Hive, Erina Fair, and Woy Woy Library.
By using council's website you may print out a receipt online. All other options do not produce a council receipt; however, your bank statement will reflect receipt of your payment by council.
