The Umina skate park is the largest skate park in Gosford City and is comprised of an extensive intermediate skate area and new junior facility.
The intermediate components of the park include a large bowl with spine, ¾ bowl, fun boxes, rails, quarter pipe and block to name a few of its many features.
The junior area is designed with more open space and four roll-ins to enable little ones to get comfortable using the skate park facility.
Due to its size, the skate park is home to skate, scooter and BMX competitions and skate events throughout the year and is a popular tourist destination.
Half multi-purpose court
The half court at Umina is a new addition to the Peninsula Recreation Precinct.
The half court is a free community facility and is located next to the skate park.
The area is line marked for both netball and basketball and features a reversible netball/basketball tower.
The BMX track at Umina is a 200 metre compacted dirt loop track offering two different riding options – a beginner run and an intermediate run.
This free recreation facility is located in close proximity to Umina Oval, skate park and half basketball court and is set amongst eucalyptus trees which shade the facility in summer.
