There are eight skate parks within Gosford City all with varying features and suited to all skill levels.

The skate parks are unsupervised and are available for use only during daylight hours.
The facilities are available for use by skaters, rollerbladers, BMX and scooter riders. Please note that motorcycles are not permitted.
Please be advised that the facilities have been designed with safety in mind and conform to recognised industry standards. Signs have been erected informing users of the risks associated with the activity and strongly recommend the use of protective safety equipment such as helmets, knee and elbow pads.

There are two BMX Tracks in the Gosford LGA:
• Terrigal BMX Track at Duffys Rd, Terrigal; and
• Umina Recreation Area at Umina Beach.
The Terrigal BMX track is managed by Terrigal BMX Club, who can be contacted via the Terrigal BMX Club website.
The Umina BMX track is managed by council, and is suitable for beginner to intermediate level riders. It takes full advantage of its location adjacent to Umina recreation area, Umina skate park and Umina Beach.
Council organises a variety of skate and BMX events throughout the year to provide skaters and bike riders with opportunities to compete against their peers and exercise their talent.
These events are affiliated with Skateboarding Australia and cater to all skill levels.
