A number of policies relevant to community groups will be of interest to those reading this document. Policies of particular interest are:

Community Facility Support Fund Policy - to provide financial assistance for major maintenance, repair and improvement of the facility owned by or managed by community organisations by way of a donation. To assist organisations in the management of community facilities which have a community development focus. BA and DA Fees - Charitable Organisations Policy - to alleviate the financial burden of Development Application fees, payable by public benevolent institutions or public charities where it is established that such a burden would actually ensue. Community Printing Policy - to assist community based non-profit organisations who provide a service to residents of Gosford LGA by providing them with a limited amount of printing of material used for the promotion and management of such organisations. The policy provides for community printing to be undertaken within the financial constraints of the print room's recurrent budget. View Council's community printing policy (PDF file, 124kb).

The library also has copies of "Board Matters" - a newsletter for non-profit organisations covering governance management.
