Public Liability Insurance

While public liability insurance for incorporated associations is no longer compulsory under the Incorporations Act it is strongly recommended that groups do take out cover.
Cover must be taken out for groups that manage Council facilities under licence agreements. The minimum cover required is $10m and Council is to be listed on the policy as a Joint Insured or Councils interests are to be noted on the policy.
