Local and Regional Profiles
Local and regional community profile information.
Information about the community is provided at both a local and regional area level. You can find out about the characteristics of our local community including:
- How many people live here?
- Who we are?
- What we do?
- How we live?
Data across issues such as population growth, demography, families and household composition, health, housing, education, employment and travel is provided. The information is derived from the ABS Census of Population and Housing for the census periods 2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991. The information is available for planning, research and customer service enquiries.
Gosford Community Profile
The community profile provides population and demographic information for the Gosford LGA and for 20 small areas (sub planning precincts) across Gosford. The community profile allows each small area to be compared with the LGA, the Central Coast region and NSW.
The Community Profile is an easy to use interactive website with information from each of the 2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991 census periods.
Central Coast Regional Profile and Social Atlas
The Central Coast Regional Profile and Social Atlas provides data to describe our community at a regional, local government (LGA) and sub-LGA level.
Gosford and Wyong Councils, Central Coast Health and the University of Newcastle, Ourimbah Campus have compiled the data to provide a better understanding of population and demographic change within the Central Coast region. The Central Coast Regional Profile and Social Atlas provides information from each of the 2001, 1996 and 1991 census periods.
In addition to ABS census data, the Regional Profile and Social Atlas also includes non-statistical data gathered from a variety of government documents and databases.
