Council’s Sponsorship Program provides financial support to assist in the delivery of initiatives that provide a measurable return on investment such as increased economic benefit or profile for the Central Coast region. The Program supports high quality events and projects that contribute to the vitality and culture of our region by raising the region’s profile; promoting social inclusion; supporting the local economy and places; creating employment opportunities; encouraging visitation and supporting tourism and business initiatives that deliver economic benefits.
The Sponsorship program has three funding tiers:
- Hero / Signature Initiatives – negotiated amount
- Regionally Significant Initiatives – up to $50,000
- Business Development Initiatives – up to $20,000
Applications for Tier one open on 14 August 2017 and are open all year round in the 2017-18 financial year.
Applications for Tier 2 and 3 are open twice a year: 14 August-15 September 2017 and 1-28 February 2018.
