What is Youth Council? Gosford City Youth Council is devoted to helping to better the future for young people on the Central Coast. The Council is run by an enthusiastic group of young people aged between 12 and 25 years who live, work or study in the Gosford City area. Youth Council offers an opportunity for people to get involved with their local community and to engage in positions of leadership, and to work closely with Gosford City Council. Why membership is important? Gosford City Youth Council members represent Central Coast young people and offer a voice on important issues and concerns. Members also promote a positive image for young people and encourage the support of Youth Service providers on the Central Coast. When and where are Youth Council meetings held? Youth Council meets on the first Wednesday of every month at the Community Development buidling (53 Mann St, Gosford) between the times of 4:00 and 5:00pm. What has Gosford City Youth Council achieved in the past? Gosford City Youth Council has had involvement in organizing Youth Week events, film festivals, Youth Forums, creating promotional material, consulting with Youth Interagency, Gosford City and Wyong Shire Councils, Fusion projects, Brisbane Water’s Historical Society Fete and much more!
