Welcome to the Gosford City Council web site. As you navigate through our greatly expanded site I am sure you will appreciate the diverse range of services provided by the Council and the encouragement of community participation.
The opportunity exists for residents to address Council at the weekly Council meetings as well as the many public meetings held during the year on issues affecting us all. Your attendance at such meetings is welcomed and encouraged to ensure that the strategies and programs being put in place reflect the community's wishes.
Given the limited and at times reducing resources available to Council, it is important that we continue and expand consultation with the community to ensure that these resources are aimed at creating state of the art facilities and an environment in which we are all happy to reside. This obviously creates many challenges due to the differing visions we may have, however it is important to openly discuss these issues and identify the points of agreement.
