Gosford City Council offers the following payment methods for rates and water consumption accounts.

Credit Card Telephone Payments

Phone 1300 660 731 (within Australia) & (02) 9770 3410 (outside Australia - International call rates will apply).

The following cards are not accepted by Council.

Direct Debit

Council has introduced the payment of rates by direct debit from your savings, cheque or credit card accounts. By lodging an application with the council, your future rate instalments and water consumption accounts will be automatically deducted from your nominated bank/building society savings or cheque account as they fall due. Download the electronic Direct Debit Authority form to find out more about this service. Feel free to print this form, fill it out and send to Gosford City Council.

BPay

Most banks and credit unions now accept BPay via telephone or Internet. Payments can be made directly from your cheque, savings or credit card account.

Mastercard and Visa are accepted, contact your financial institution to link your accounts to BPay.

No queues, no stamps, no mail delays! BPay is prompt, efficient and secure. You can control exactly when you make payments, even outside of normal business hours. A bank receipt transaction number will be provided for your payment and this transaction number will appear on you bank statement.

Please note this is not Council's receipt number. Payments made out of normal business hours may not be processed by your bank until the close of business on the following business day.

Contact your bank, credit union or building society and have your biller code and reference number available.

Council does not accept payment by telephone.

E-Services

A simple and fast way to pay Council Rates, Water and Debtor accounts using Mastercard or Visa. Log on to Council's online payments website at ecouncil.gosford.nsw.gov.au. Select the E-Services option and follow the prompts. Your payment will indicate when approved and an Transaction ID number will be issued.

EFTPOS

Eftpos services are available at Council's Customer Service Centres located at Gosford Administration Building, Woy Woy Library, Erina Library and Kincumber Library during normal business hours. Use your Debit card, Mastercard or Visa.

Pre-encoded Bank Slip

Payments using the pre-encoded deposit slip attached to all rates & water accounts will be accepted at Westpac bank branches free of charge. Payments made at other banks may attract a transfer fee.

Australia Post

Payment of rate and water accounts may be made at any Australia Post office during normal business hours using the pre-encoded deposit slip.

Payment by Mail

Simply make a cheque payable to Gosford City Council and post it with the deposit slip to Locked Box, GPO Box 4943 Sydney NSW 1029. Receipts are not issued for payments received through the mail.

Deposit Box

Pushed for time? Just place your deposit slip and cheque into the deposit box located on the ground floor of the administration building at 49 Mann St Gosford. No receipt will be issued using this method of payment.

Gosford City Council Offices

Receipts are issued for all accounts paid at the Administration Building, 49 Mann Street Gosford or Woy Woy Branch Office at Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy. Our cashiers are open between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. Cash, cheque, eftpos, credit and debit card transactions are accepted here.
