Pension Eligibility
Are you eligible for a pension reduction on your rates and water
consumption charges?
To be eligible for a reduction on your rate and
water charges you must be:
- The holder of a pensioner concession card or veterans affairs gold card (TPE & EDA). Further criteria may apply for War Widows.
- The owner, part owner or life tennant of the property. (Proof of life tenancy under a Will must be provided).
- This property is your principal place of residency as shown on your concession card.
- As the owner, you must be living on the property prior to the commencement of the rate instalment or water billing period. Instalment periods fall as follows:
- 1 July to 30 September
- 1 October to 31 December
- 1 January to 31 March
- 1 April to 30 June
- Personal application can be made at the Gosford administration building or Woy Woy branch office. Please bring your concession card(s) with you.
