Beach to Beaches
The Central Coast of NSW is famous for its beaches. And what better way to explore them than by bike. Seeking the glitz and glamour of Terrigal and its family friendly atmosphere; Avoca Beach with its theatre, cafes and surf, or check out Wamberal and Forresters Beach or even Wyrrabalong National Park. This ride provides the opportunity to explore it all in one day while jumping in for a swim along the way. Be sure to carry a suitable lock and use it where you stop.

Along the way
Continue north until you reach Forresters Beach. Continue further to Shelly Beach and beyond or head back towards Ettalong Beach until you reach the ferry wharf at Ettalong for your trip back to Palm Beach and Sydney. Ettalong Beach is the place for an idyllic ride away. Shop, stay overnight, see a movie or dine at one of the many restaurants, perhaps even hire a kayak.
If you chose to travel by ferry ensure your bike is placed to the rear of the ferry.

Hazards
Terrigal is an area of high pedestrian and vehicle traffic, take care.
1. Take the shared path along the Rip Bridge. This bridge does not offer a road shoulder.
2. Take extreme care along Cullens Rd and the Scenic Hwy. The road is narrow in places with no road shoulder, so stay as far left as possible.
3. Take care around Terrigal, it is an area of high pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
4. Ensure that your bike is taken to the rear of the ferry.
