St Mary's Church: It is one of the oldest sandstone churches on the Central Coast. It has been rebuilt brick by brick from its former home of East Gosford

POI 3

Peering over the footway bridge at the Punt Bridge it is still possible to see the remnants of the Punt Bridge. It was an old wooden bridge used to transport timber along the waterways in the early days of Central Coast European settlement. Timber was felled in the areas of Green Point and Erina

Take care along Avoca Dr. Sections of this road does not have any road shoulders. Keep as far left as possible

At Killuna Road Kincumber 18.4kms and then take the path to the corner of the street to get to Kincumber Church

POI 4

Kincumber Church is home to one of the oldest churches in the area and also where Ben Davis, one of the early settlers is buried

Killuna Rd/Hawke St then exit onto the Shared User Path and across the footbridge continuing past the golf practice range

Along the shared user path past the Pony Club until Nautical Village and cross using the pedestrian refuge

Empire Bay Dr > 300m

At MacKillop Rd and right at Humphrey's Rd and continue until you reach the St Joseph's Catholic Church

Humphrey's Rd and back up the hill at Mackillop Rd

Empire Bay Dr and left at Hawk St. Take the Frost Reserve cycleway around to Davies Rd > 100m

Park your bike at the wharf and learn of the local indigenous and European history by taking a walk along the Davistown foreshore with the Illoura History Walk

Hazards

1.No road shoulder. Stay left or take the whole lane when required for the sake of safety.

2. Take extreme care along Avoca Dr. The road is narrow in places with no road shoulder, stay as far left as possible.

3. Take care along Davistown Rd. It is steep and has many winding sections. Stay as far left as possible.

4. Use the shared path along Empire Bay Dr at South Kincumber.

5. Ensure that your bike is taken to the rear of the ferry.
