Australia Day Celebrations on the Central Coast

Celebrate Australia Day on the Central Coast at Wagstaffe, The Entrance and Woy Woy. 


Wagstaffe Square, Wagstaffe
Thursday 26 January, 8am to 10.30am

Join us for a fantastic community breakfast from 9am, as well as a flag raising ceremony, and various entertainment. 


Memorial Park, The Entrance
Thursday 26 January, 12pm to 9pm 
Bring the whole family along for an action-packed day full of free entertainment and fun activities at Memorial Park.

The official ceremony begins at 1.15pm and includes raising of the national flag.

The celebrations continue with NSW Corps of Marines, firing of the original 1820 Carronade Canon, amusement rides and free kid's activities, our annual ice cream eating competition, and local food and market stalls.

The main stage features a line-up of great artists leading to our headline act Mental as Anything. The event concludes at 9pm with the SeaFm Fireworks Spectacular.


Woy Woy Foreshore, Woy Woy 
Thursday 26 January, 2pm to 9.30pm 
Be entertained with children's activities, food and market stalls, community displays and entertainment.

The official ceremony commences at 6pm and includes an official address, Australian National Anthem and the cutting of the 'big lamington'.

At 8.30pm, the beautiful Lantern Parade winds its way from CWA Hall to Memorial Park, Woy Woy.

The night culminates in a big bang, with the StarFM Fireworks Spectacular.
