Fit for the Future is the NSW Government’s reform program for local councils across New South Wales. 
 

Background

 In June 2015, Gosford City Council submitted it's Fit for the Future report to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART). Council undertook independent analysis along with community consultation to inform it's report. Links to the report are provided below:

Merger proposal period

The Central Coast community can now have its say on the amalgamation of Gosford City and Wyong Shire Councils, after the State Government announced the official review of the proposed merger by the NSW Office of Local Government (OLG).

Details about the proposals, delegates, and the consultation process can be found at www.councilboundaryreview.nsw.gov.au.
