Gosford Regional Gallery

School Visits

Our Schools Education Program is a great way to engage primary and secondary students in art and culture, and links with the NSW Visual Art Syllabus for years K - 6, 7 - 10 and 11 - 12.

The gallery can accommodate a variety of visits ranging from a single exhibition tour to a full day program, and can cater for groups of 10 to 100 students.

We offer specialist educational resources, workshops and talks based around art making, Asian cultures, Aboriginal culture and art literacy (available on request).

Primary Schools

Primary School visits are tailored to suit students in Stages 1 - 3. A typical full-day excursion includes a guided tour of current exhibitions and the Edogawa Commemorative Garden, as well as an art making workshop facilitated by a professional artist, for as little as $13 per student. Workshops include: Japanese printing, Koi fish kites, native clay animals, Aboriginal painting and self portraits.

Secondary Schools
