launched by Christopher Cheng a National
ambassador for the National Year of Reading
and Susanne Gervay NSW Ambassador for
the National Year of Reading.
Councillor Vicki Scott then the denim launch
ribbon was ripped before our guest authors
shared their thoughts on reading and
their recent publishing experiences.


School choir including the song 'I Put on my Blue
Jeans' everyone mingled and many of the audience
decorated denim bookmarks.
Everyone signed our guest book/denim shorts with fabric markers and three lucky door prizes were awarded during the event. Local schools including Terrigal and Berkeley Vale High teachers - see their March Issue of The Tattler for more information, students and parents joined us and the room overflowed with excitement.
