An interlibrary loans service is available from all branches of the Library.

A $5 non-refundable processing fee is charged for items located in Public Libraries of Australia

A minimum fee of $12 fee is charged for items located in University or Special Libraries

Material from overseas libraries can be retrieved at cost.

All fees include GST.

How to make a request

To request an item from the Inter-Library Loans Service, approach the friendly staff at the Information Desk of each Branch. Please try to have as much available information as possible concerning details of the publication requested.

How long will it take?

It is impossible to guarantee a time of delivery for items requested. Delivery is dependent on a number of factors, including the accuracy of the details provided, location of the item, availability and the time spent in transit.

Usually, requests are satisfied within Australia, in a period of between 5-20 working days.

A Fast Track Service is available for items which are required urgently. There is a minimum fee of $21 for this service.
