Early Gosford District land subdivision maps 1880s-1930s
Gosford City Library Local Studies Collection holds many early land subdivision maps in original and microfiche formats. Many of the original items were intended for short term use only, and surviving originals are very rare and fragile. Most maps date from the 1880-1930 period, a time of great expansion in the Gosford District.
Examples of some subdivision maps are not known to have survived in public or private collections. Consequently, some areas of the Gosford District are poorly represented in our collection. If you know of other Gosford district maps in existence, then we are always glad to hear about them. If you need a particular map and it does not appear, please contact Gosford City Library.
It is with great pleasure that we present some of these resources for research and study use by local students and historians. We will add resources as time allows. Please watch this section, you never know what will turn up!
