Leadership Award
The Leadership Award, presented by The University of Newcastle, aims to recognise and encourage emerging leaders in the Hunter, Central Coast and Mid North Coast regions.
The award recipient will receive a package of prizes including participation in a mentored leadership program and a $10,000 leadership development scholarship of the winner's choice. Candidates are nominated for the award through a written submission addressing the Award criteria.
A panel of judges, comprised of community leaders from across the region, will identify the finalists. All finalists will be interviewed by the judging panel. Nominess should be aged less than 35 years on January 1, 2008 and must be able to demonstrate leadership within their career and the community.
