A Chinese-themed film night, promoting harmony and diversity, will be held on Friday 17 July, at The Hub (Erina Youth Centre) from 6.30pm.

Forever Enthralled
is a biographical film directed by Chen Kaige and follows the life of Mei Lanfang, one of China's premiere opera performers who performs all over the world and lifts the traditionally lowly status of actors in China. The Chinese community of the Central Coast will also be offering traditional Chinese finger foods before the film.
Previous film nights held throughout 2008 and 2009 have showcased Mexican, Indian, Greek, Aussie, Italian, Indian, Turkish, Chilean, Chinese, South American, African, Filipino, French, and Iranian-Persian cultures, and saw an overwhelming response, proving to be a fun event for all involved.
The event is drug and alcohol-free. Tickets are available for $2 from Gosford City Council's Customer Service Desk at Erina Fair, located next to Erina Library.
