The Gosford Challenge team charged with the task to develop and grow Gosford as a world-class waterfront regional city within greater Sydney has announced another milestone.

The joint project sponsors for the Gosford Challenge, the Department of Lands and Gosford City Council, have announced the appointment of their Developer Panel.

The panel will be providing expert advice to the co-sponsors and the Gosford Challenge Team on the technical, sustainable and financial feasibility of proposed development concepts for the future revitalisation of the city.

The panel consists of the following development firms: Baxter O'Hara, Lend Lease Development, Mariners FC Trust, Mirvac, Commercialhq and Stronach.

Council's Director of City Centre Development, Colleen Worthy-Jennings, states that "the panel provides a blend of large and small firms with both local and international experience, all committed to the redevelopment of Gosford as the regional capital of the Central Coast".

Their commitment is demonstrated through their early involvement, as they are offering their extensive knowledge and experience during the masterplanning phase.
