A free Energy Saving workshop will be held on June 5 -- World Environment Day -- at 6pm at Woy Woy Leagues Club, Blackwall Road, Woy Woy.
The Gosford City Council workshop will show participants how to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions while saving on energy bills.
Guest speaker is Peter Meloy, the owner of a local "green home", who will outline how to run an energy-efficient home that can even put solar energy back into the grid.
The workshop will cover a range of energy saving solutions ranging from the cheap and simple to installing a solar hot water system.
