Bring along the whole family to enjoy this wonderful Annual Davistown Putt Putt Regatta & Wooden Boat Festival.
You're invited to be part of the 11th anniversary celebrations for the Putt Putt Regatta. What was started by Brisbane Water Marine Watch as a great boating revival for Putt-Putt boat owners, has grown into a popular and entertaining day for all the family to enjoy.
The Putt Putt Regatta also appeals to wooden boat enthusiasts as well as owner/skippers who come from local and distant places. The excellent foreshore at Davistown keeps families coming back each year to view the boats and enjoy all the on-shore activities.
The Regatta begins at 8:30am with the boat arrival, registration and judging. The Putt Putt Challenge is underway at 10:30am and the Regatta begins at 11:3am. Over 100 restored boats head out and around Brisbane Water with crews dressed in period costume. On shore, the Rotary Club of Kincumber will organise activities with entertainment for all interests and age groups. Over 100 stalls with craft, food, drinks and live bands - singing, dancing, static displays of vintage cars, engines of various types plus much more, so come along and enjoy the day!
