Bushland Reserves
Bushland Reserves under the control of Council's Natural Open Space Unit cover some 4000 hectares of natural areas within Gosford City.
These reserves form part of Gosford City's Coastal Open Space System of reserves and are maintained in a substantially natural state. The Natural Open Space Unit endeavours to protect and responsibly manage these bushland areas at the same time providing for legitimate public access and recreation.

Visitor facilities are maintained in the major bushland reserves including motor vehicle access, picnic facilities, amenities, lookouts and walking trails.
- Rumbalara Reserve - Extensive views of Brisbane Water and North Gosford.
- Katandra Reserve - Fabulous walking trails through Sclerophyll and Temperate Rainforests and panoramic outlook to the coastline.
- Kincumba Mountain Reserve - Hill top picnic grounds with great visitor facilities and walking trails.
