COSS Week 2009

Following the success of the inaugural COSS Week in 2008, Gosford City Council will once again hold a week of special events in September 2009 to showcase and celebrate Gosford's Coastal Open Space System (COSS).

COSS Week 2009, which will kick off on Tuesday September 22 2009, is a great opportunity for the public to experience what the COSS has to offer. The week's activities include a birdwatching tour, a nature photography workshop, plant and animal presentations, bushwalks, a guided Aboriginal heritage tour and an evening of astronomy at Kincumba Mountain.

 

Overview of COSS Week 2009:

Tuesday, September 22: Opening of COSS Week 2009.

Wednesday, September 23: Aboriginal Heritage tour.

Thursday, September 24: Bushcare Open Day.

Friday, September 25: Breakfast with the Birds, Plant 'n' Fungi Ramble, Investigating the COSS.

Saturday, September 26: Shutterbug Nature Photography Workshop, Discover Native Animals, COSS by Night.

Sunday, September 27: Nature Discovery Walk, Railway to Rainforest Bushwalk, Close of COSS Week 2009.
