The Peninsula Recreation Precinct is a multi-purpose recreation facility located at Umina Beach incorporating a

recreation building, playground, park facilities, sporting and environmental opportunities.

Playground and Park Facilities

Aerial Junior & Middle Junior

The multi-level playground is a unique, challenging and innovative play space

with equipment suitable for all ages and levels.  The playground boasts junior,

middle junior and senior play areas.  Park facilities include BBQ and picnic

facilities all linked by fully accessible pathways.

Recreation Building

                                  The architecturally designed recreation building with public aminities provides a venue for

                                  community hire for the staging of meetings, children's birthday parties, weddings,

                                  community  and corporate functions.

Active Recreation Area

Half Court Basketball Cover

The active recreation area comprises a junior and senior skate park, half court

basketball/netball court and BMX track.

Sports Clubhouse

                           The sports clubhouse building provides a venue for community hire for the staging of meetings,

                           training, recreational and sporting based business activity such as fitness or organised sporting

                           groups, community programs and corporate meetings.

A tennis facility consisting of five (5) courts including a multi-purpose court and

mini children's playground.

The centre provides an opportunity for coaching, casual hire, clubhouse hire

and sporting group hire.

Bush Regeneration

                        Gosford City Council Bushcare is a program that facilitates community involvement inthe restoration

                        of bushland managed by Gosford City Council.

                        The Bushcare program was created in response to the community's desire to be actively involved

                        in the management of the local environment.
