From Gershwin to GaGa, Stomping Ivories is hitting the high road and high seas fresh from touring festivals and theatres around the country.
This international show tours with two grand pianos, a drum kit and three world-class performers.
With songwriting credits alongside Keith Urban, INXS and soul legend the late Lou Rawls, Hughie has songs on albums with close to one million sales.
Greg and Murray have also entered the Stomping fray, abetted by a 2015 Aria award and a recording of Al Pacino singing the lead track, written by Greg, in his latest movie.
This vocal trio swerves off a seemingly spontaneous hit list of over 350 songs with moments of hilarity in between.
It’s a hit concept which satisfies on all levels – the musicians whose careers the songs have shaped, and the audience interacting with them.
Singing their way from Gershwin to GaGa, the two eclectic piano players are just as much at ease with the honky tonk of Elton John, AC/DC played on the piano, or the swinging' class of Frank Sinatra.
This show has flown in to perform at the Casino showrooms between Hobart to Cairns since 2009.
They've performed in the grand ballroom at Parliament House Canberra, music festivals, and theatres across the country and have appeared on national television and radio. They also just returned from another Bravo Cruise of the performing arts on the high seas.
