John MacNally was born in Dublin, Ireland and started his musical career as a boy soprano.
Later, he studied classical music and sung in Il Trovatore and two seasons at the Wexford Festival of Opera, as well as leading roles in Carousel, South Pacific and Rose Marie.
While singing in Jury's Irish Cabaret he recorded 'Mary in the Morning', which became a hit.
John has appeared at Carnegie Hall and The Lincoln Centre, both in New York, the London Palladium, The National Concert Hall in Dublin, The Sydney Opera House, as well as in Las Vegas at the Sahara Hotel, Hilton Hotel, The Flamingo and Caesars Palace and The Grand Ole Oprey in Nashville.
He has appeared with Peter Allen, Liberace and Joan Sutherland, and has sung for Princess Grace of Monaco and The Emperor of Japan.
Television appearances include his own series in Dublin and the USA. John also hosted The Tonight Show on Channel 9 in Sydney for four years, as well as The Saturday Show on ABC TV.
He has recorded many albums in London, Nashville and Sydney, and is very proud to have received Platinum and Gold records in recognition of their success.
