Waste Services undertakes a number of key functions, including;
- Administration of Domestic Waste Management
- Contract Management of Council's Landfill Depots
- Administration of the Effluent/Sludge Contract

- Controls for Site Waste Management (DCP 106)

Garbage and Bulk Kerbside Collections
Council provide a 120L and 240L general waste, 240L recyclable and 240L garden vegetation bin (domestic properties east of F3) which is collected under contract by Remondis (formally Thiess Services). Application forms are available for customers to vary their current garbage collection services. Visit the 1Coast website for information regarding your bin collection day, to book a kerbside collection, report a missed service or request bin repairs.
Customers are advised that enquiries relating to bins, garbage collections and bulk kerbside or vegetation collections should be directed to the 1Coast website where you can enquire via email or phone 1300 1coast (1300 126 278).

Landfill Sites
Council operates Woy Woy Landfill and Kincumber Transfer Station. Please see the page dedicated to these sites.
