Communications

Council is dedicated to keeping the community informed and educated about drinking water quality. The Water Quality 2010 communication program is designed to ensure you receive clear advice on water quality, the Water Quality 2010 program and planned water supply works that may impact the quality of your water. It includes 24 hour access to information via our website, a fact sheet, direct mail, community briefings and coverage in the media.
We understand the importance of two-way communication and encourage feedback from residents concerning discolouration of the water supply. If you experience discoloured water, please call Council on 4325 8222 to report it.
Our Water Quality Customer Service Officer is also available to answer your queries about water quality and will deliver specialist powder to remove discoloured water stains from laundry to your home or business. If you experience discoloured water and require powder, please call Council on 4325 8222.
More information and tips to help avoid discoloured water are available in our Discoloured Water Brochure.
