WaterPlan 2050
WaterPlan 2050 is the long-term blueprint developed by Gosford City and Wyong Shire Councils for managing the Central Coast’s water resources over the next four decades.
Key objectives of WaterPlan 2050 are to:
- further enhance the current water supply system
- continue to use water as efficiently as possible
- develop additional future sources of water.
As of August 2007, Gosford City and Wyong Shire Councils have formally endorsed the long-term water supply strategy and work has now begun on implementing the key actions outlined in this plan, including construction of the new Mardi-Mangrove Link.
