Gosford City Council Water Information - Keeping you informed
A key part of Gosford City Council's activities to keep everyone informed about the water situation is for us to interact with the community as often as possible, from residents and businesses through to schools, tradespeople, not for profit organisations and community groups.
In our Out & About section you can view photos of the various events we've attended to answer the many questions people have and spread the Our Water...Worth Saving message!
Australia Day 2008
The Water Information Centre at Gosford Waterfront this Australia Day provided residents with a wide range of new, informative and practical water saving devices, information on Councils WQ2010 program and lots of fun of giveaways.
Celebrating Christmas

Whizzy joined in on the Christmas festivities again this year, marching in Gosford's Welcome to Santa Christmas Parade on November 17 and at Woy Woy's Christmas Parade held at Deepwater Plaza on November 25.
National Water Week - October 2007

During National Water Week Council supported many events, including the Central Coast Water Festival, Kincumber Festival and Bunnings National Water Saving weekend.
Flora Festival - September 2007

The Water Authority tent at the 2007 Annual Flora Festival featured a bathroom, laundry, kitchen and garden setup along with an interactive wall of water saving products informing visitors to the festival how easy it is to save water around the home.
Forum, Water for the Future - June 2007

Water Forum - Water for the Future held at the Erina Centre on the 16th June gave residents the opportunity to learn more about our water system supply, enhancements that have been completed & the benefits they’re delivering, WaterPlan 2050, what's happening with climate change and how this effects the Central Coast.

World Water Day - March 2007
World Water Day - Gosford and Wyong Councils celebrated World Water Day at Erina Fair. On display were facts about water scarcity from around the world and an interactive bucket display gave the community the chance to actually see how much water they use. Whizzy droped by to say hi to all the kids and hand out stickers.
Australia Day 2007

Australia Day 2007 - The Water Information Centre was on display at Gosford Waterfront, with Tasting of 100% purified recycled water, interactive water saving devices and lots of giveaways.

Water Forum - more than 650 people got to find out first hand what's being done to secure our water supply system .
